Become an expert in the field of human performance and rehabilitation sciences

Our Human Performance & Rehabilitation Sciences Ph.D. prepares graduates for high-level careers in research, teaching, policy, and practice that span performance science (e.g., exercise physiology, biomechanics, human movement), rehabilitation science (e.g., disability, functional outcomes, systems of care), and translational work between those fields.

This is a full time, face-to-face, research-based doctoral program that includes 90 credit hours of study taught and mentored by nationally and internationally recognized faculty.

The Ph.D. includes two tracks—health & rehabilitation sciences and human performance. Information on the health & rehabilitation sciences track can be found below, while the human performance track can be found under the Department of Kinesiology.
