You are invited to utilize our brand-new 1,000-square-foot teaching kitchen—a dynamic space designed to serve both the campus and the Indianapolis community.
The kitchen features six fully equipped teaching bays, each complete with a sink, oven, blender, microwave, KitchenAid mixer, and all the essentials needed for cooking and food preparation. A dedicated instructional station, cold and frozen food storage, and a commercial-grade dishwasher and ice maker make it ideal for hosting workshops, demonstrations, and research activities.
It’s not just a cooking space—it’s a hub for learning, wellness, and sustainability. Whether you're looking to host a class, collaborate on research, or engage the community in health and nutrition initiatives, the kitchen offers a platform for impactful, hands-on experiences.
Local nonprofits, campus groups, courses from other schools, and community partners may utilize the space, fostering a shared vision of integrated health advocacy. With composting stations provided by IU’s sustainability office, the kitchen also promotes environmental education. Nearby parking garages with voucher options for your clients or subjects make accessibility manageable.
