Brian Reagan, Ph.D., RD, is a lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology, specializing in dietetics, sports nutrition, motor learning, and health and wellness. His academic interests include macronutrient intake and dietary analysis of college and professional athletes, disordered eating, high-impact teaching practices, and skills development.
An active tennis professional at the Indianapolis Tennis Center, Reagan collaborates with members of the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA), Women's Tennis Association (WTA), Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and college athletes across various sports.
Reagan has presented at multiple national conferences of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Since 2021, he has served on the Indiana State Board of Dietetics.
Before his appointment in the School of Health & Human Sciences (SHHS), Reagan was an associate professor at the University of Indianapolis (UIndy), where he won the kinesiology department’s "Student Choice Outstanding Professor" award three times.
A two-time SHHS alum, Reagan holds a master’s degree in physical education (exercise science, 2006) and a Ph.D. in health & rehabilitation sciences (2016). His dissertation examined the nutrition knowledge of coaches. He earned his undergraduate degree in dietetics from Marian University in 2001.
